voodoo: Not putting words in your mouth, just quoting the words from your fingers. This was copied from your 8/17 10:27 PM PT post: Like I mentioned in the response prior to your post, the last 1+ seasons for RGIII are a total and complete writeoff for obvious reasons - Apparently you don't pay attention to your own posts!
Yes, you have the constitutional right to your opinion and I questioned it's factual or statistical validity.
I disagree with your opinion that, "RGIII + Cousins = best starter/backup qb combo in the league end of story!" (posted 8/17 @ 7:24 PM PT), and find it amusing that I paid more attention to your posts, than the you, the author.
In my opinion in the NFC only Bradford, McCown, and Cassel, are worse starting QBs than RGIII. In the AFC, it's all of the East, except Brady, any South QB, except Luck, in the North, any Cleveland QB and in the West any of my Raiders' QBs
Best of luck to you, voodoo, and the many loyal members of the RGIII and Kirk Cousins' fan club!
You've got some serious reading comprehension issues - I'm starting to see a pattern here. When I said you were, "putting words in my mouth" I was referring to your statement, "you want to, simultaneously, write-off his entire career"...I've quoted the except below and my direct response to it from the very first paragraph of my last post. Your statement doesn't even make any sense, unless you are completely ignorant of his spectacular, Heismann-winning CFB career.
Now that you are aware of this, why the hell would I "write off his career" when it's his absolutely amazing CFB career that fully and completely supports my point? lol ...that point being that a 100% HEALTHY RGIII (physical + mental) is a top 7 quarterback in the entire WORLD, leaving Cam Newton in the dust (both on and off paper). In fact in his healthy 2012 rookie NFL year, he had the most yards per attempt in the ENTIRE LEAGUE, AND the least interceptions - beating out Peyton Manning, Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady, Drew Brews, Russel Wilson - just to name a few, ranking as the leagues 3rd best quarterback in his rookie year (both on-paper, and most definitely off-paper), posting an NFL RECORD of best passer rating in the HISTORY OF THE LEAGUE for a rookie of 102.4). It's time to wake up and get with the program man, seriously...
This whole thing began because you brought up the Panthers QBs - you can continue to think whatever you want about them, I really don't give a rip. I have never liked Cam due to his poor judgement and choke-artist routine...if you wanna be a fanboy fine, but this is a bettors forum. You wanted stats? I gave you irrefutable ones - a HEALTHY RGIII vs. a HEALTHY Cam (I will repost them below to minimize the chance of more reading comprehension issues). In fact, take ANY season from Cam - he can't touch this...
Now, since we've already established that only a complete moron / idiot / fool would bring into the discussion the stats of a signature RUNNING / MOBILE / Extreme Pocket-Presence QB who is recovering from a major, traumatic, multiple-tear knee injury, and therefore cannot execute his career play-style on the field, and has to learn to play a whole different way, while at the same time guarding / 'babying' his recovering knee, I will have to give you the benefit of the doubt that you overlooked or misunderstood something yet again, as surely you could not be that stupid? I would have absolutely zero respect for such a person, and wouldn't take any further posts or comments of theirs seriously in the least..
All this said, I will revise my original statement / opinion by adding the word "healthy" in front of it, as clearly RGIII was not the same after his injury, but we do hope he does return to his original superstar form - perhaps it was wishful thinking on my part that he would, which is why I made that statement, but make no mistake that I was referring to the playing ability of a HEALTHY 2012 RGIII, hoping for it's resurrection in the 2014 season. I do acknowledge however that it may take longer than this for him to fully recover (both physically & mentally), in which case my opinion on best starter/backup qb combo may change by the end of the season - the Broncos, Seahawks, and next off the Packers are definitely right at the top of this list though, and an argument could be made for them - no question...

As for RGIII, you want to, simultaneously, write-off his entire career and want credit for his rookie QB rating, (posted 8/17 @ 10:27 PM PT & 8/18 @ 12:06 a.m. PT).
Stop putting words in my mouth - who said anything about writing off his career? He had a sensational CFB career and even won the Heisman trophy (fact). He followed this up with a sensational 1st year in the NFL (fact), then he tore is knee badly and had to get metal in it (which is permanent) and had to undergo a lengthy recovery (fact).
So yes, he kicked the piss out of the NFL in his first year (fact), and if you're a statwhore, 30 of 32 other qb's - Cam included (statwhore fact). He has already proven himself beyond measure as was clearly demonstrated in my last post. Only a complete idiot would gloss over his 2012, and then put weight on a season of recovery (physical & mental) from a seriously torn knee, so you must have overlooked something. ...it's a pathetically baseless argument.
