NCAA Basketball
West Virginia at Kansas (-7, 151) (7 pm ET, espn2)
#10 ranked West Virginia (19-4 SU, 13-7 ATS) caught #6 ranked Kansas (19-4 SU, 13-8 ATS) at the perfect time in the first meeting on January 12th, and the Mountaineers took advantage in their 74-63 win as a 1-point home underdog. WVU is now 3-1 SU and 4-0 ATS in their past four games versus Kansas with their only loss coming in overtime.
But West Virginia recently suspended one of their best players, Jonathan Holton. Kansas plays on one of the strongest home courts in all of college basketball (12-0 SU), so another West Virginia win will be extremely difficult in this game, especially without Holton on the court. The Mountaineers are 2-1 SU/ATS in the past three games without Holton who is second on the team in rebounding (7.5 rpg) and fifth in scoring (9.6 ppg) this season.
Kansas guard Wayne Selden Jr is battling an illness, but he is expected to play tonight. Selden shoots 45% from three-point range and is second on the team in scoring (14.5 ppg) and third in assists (61) and steals (22) this season for the Jayhawks.
