Upset I didn't share our early afternoon plays. I had planned on it but we were so busy preparing for today. All 3 of our favorite plays on the board were at 2ET, but Harvard -5 makes the next cut (Earlier plays were 1. UNI/Wichita St Over 118, 2. UNC -1, 3. Dayton spread and ML). I Liked Georgia a lot earlier too, but my partners kept us off of it due to the potential lookahead vs Kentucky.
We are going with Harvard for a few reasons. We had this one circled since their last matchup, which we were on Columbia +10, who got it close in the 2nd half. Harvard got cold and Columbia, who can stroke the 3, got hot. I watched the game personally, and I saw the potential for a Columbia comeback, but it was clear they were going to need Harvard's help. The first half, in case you cannot read between the lines, was utter domination. Harvard was far superior and far bigger and far more aggressive than Columbia. The takeaway from the game is that Harvard is superior to Columbia, but lost focus and let it slip back to a close game at the end. Harvard never did lose the lead (I don't think) because they are so much better than Columbia. After Harvard's debacle in their last game, look for a focused team intent on winning the Ivy, which they must keep winning to do. The game is priced right, but if Harvard uses the edges it has to their advantage they beat the spread. The question coming in is will they use their advantages? The last game ensures that they do.
Harvard -5 (4 units)
I'm very sorry I did not post the best plays we had today. I will try to post a few more for you guys today. A little more studying to do on some later games. Not much catching my eye for later, except for excited to watch Arizona vs Utah. I have not seen Utah enough to break that game down. I would appreciate anyone who sees an edge in that one sharing.
