That's how Gus Malzoln (sp?) got into the college ranks. He brought Mitch Mustang and a couple of receivers from Fayetteville High. Then coach, Houston (we have a problem) Nutt, threw a tantrum and screwed up the works. Always thought Gus would come back home to coach up the hogs, esp. after Frank (the white devil) retired. But the fat one on the hill is well liked for the time being.
....but then again, he wasn't the kid's parent.
I would think the ncaa would look into things like that, otherwise, "dad" could be used as a tool for coercion. It's a fine line and Mizzou has had some sanctions lately too.
In addition, these things can generally cause more problems sometimes too.
