You couldn't use the IP address (as could be two different internet connections) and you couldnt use the MAC address (could be two different network interfaces / two pieces of hardware - phone & PC etc)... So I don't know how they say it for sure. If someone is smart enough there is ways to avoid it where you couldn't possibly be picked up.. e.g. Say I am on a phone with one network and my pc connection is a different network / ISP / whatever..there is nothing that could be determined by my IP address or anything that I left in a post, maybe that both posts were left from Ireland that is about it, IF that
