I'm closing in on five years here at PG and I don't see it ending until I'm planted with the Tullie's (hopefully). I've encountered my share of haters but I try and let their ill intended words to roll off my back like a banana leaf does rain. I can't even imagine what the pro's here at PG get in PM's.
The truth is PG is my favorite site on the internet. I come here first thing each day checking in on what my favorite 'cappers opinions are on sports I like to bet on. I'll be honest, most of the opinions I read are in the forum. When I feel the urge I post an opinion there. Maybe even a recommendation if I feel strongly about a bet. I want to personally thank RJ for allowing me to share my thoughts with like minded people.
What I don't understand (although at my age I should) is why all the bickering? I get the highs and lows of gambling. I've been betting in one form or another for well over 50 years. For those of you doing the math I'm 64. I was in junior high (10 y/o) when me and my buddies got "busted" lagging quarters behind the gym at lunch. I still remember the sting in my ass from the swats I received from a very muscular VP.
There is an old Chinese theory Yin and Yang. I think western society has translated it into one sentence. If you are not part of the solution you are part of the problem. I do admit when I get involved in reading a thread involving controversy, name calling or witty banter I read it. Maybe that's why soaps have existed on TV longer than any series. Non stop drama!. I don't see what calling out Harry Begg or anyone accomplishes here. Are we all not here for one goal? I think we are in the long run.
Good Luck Handicappers!
