two weeks into nfl preseason and the forums are abuzz. unfortunately most of what I see is utter nonsense.
The GOY tag is thrown around like a pack of tampons at a Tupperware party, the asinine play labeling with fifteen exclamation points across the top, piledrivers, annihilators, salivators, masturbators the list goes on. I agree its always an exciting time of year, but its also the most dangerous
ive never seen so many self assured posts of bets on the first two weeks of a season both nfl and college without a single full speed game having been played. its one thing to be confident in your ability to cap, but for X sake please be aware of what you are buying into around here. when someone is touting a PRESEASON GOY you really should question a bit more than their marketing strategy.
the baseball forum does not seem immune either. for those of us that have been grinding it out since February before the flowers even bloomed a word of advice to the recent boom of huge 5 star plays crowd----the instant rush to double your bankroll a week before football starts is amateurish at best
every year this happens, and the pregame pick selling bazaar is no different, capitalizing on the new season start and all the fresh faced eager bankrolls walking in the door looking to make easy money.
cooler heads and strict money management will prevail....rant over
