BIO
Youth
Eric Fletcher was born into a coaching family in Pennsylvania. His father was a Division 1 football coach, and Eric learned at his knee.
Player
Fletcher was an outstanding player himself and made all state in baseball and football in high school. He went on to play baseball at Garrett Community College in Maryland where he was Offensive Player of the Year both seasons.
Next, Fletcher moved up to Flagler College in St. Augustine Florida – making the All Regional team as a junior and senior and 3rd team All American his junior year.
Fletcher was drafted by Major League Baseball out of high school and also after his 3rd year of college. He spent time in the Detroit Tiger camp. A severe knee injury effectively ended his playing career.
Coach
Eric Fletcher coached baseball at the college level for 14 years - including head coach at Broward in Fort Lauderdale, one of the most respected JUCO programs in the nation. He also coached at Georgia Tech and University of Wilmington in addition to more than a few smaller colleges.
7 players Eric Fletcher coached in his career made the Majors, including Joe Randa (over 1500 hits and AL Player of the Month in July 1999).
Over 50 players Eric Fletcher coached played in the minor leagues.
Fletcher also worked for the New York Yankees as a Latin America baseball scout.
Education
Fletcher received an AA degree in Sociology while attending Garrett and later earned a dual masters at the University of South Alabama in Sports Medicine and Sports Administration. Yet, Fletcher will be the first to tell you that he learned the most from the school of hard knocks.
Las Vegas
In 1998, after decades as a player and coach, dealing with the constant travel, modest pay, and a coaching job market that demanded moving from city to city on a regular basis, Fletcher decided to take the chance on a more appealing grind: Making the big move to Las Vegas to become a professional sports bettor.
Success for a pro bettor is measured in cash. Las Vegas is a city that tends to beat up newcomers – and early on Fletcher had a lot to learn. But his rare coaching insight into the games allowed him to win from the start. And as he grew into a Las Vegas insider, he won at an even higher rate. Fletcher is particularly proud that he’s cashed enough winning tickets in the 17 years since coming to Vegas that he’s never needed to cash a regular paycheck.

Fletcher’s years as a player, scout, and coach allows him to leverage an intimate knowledge of how the games are played. Fletcher attacks handicapping unlike any other … approaching the games like an advance scout prepping for the matchup. He watches endless hours of tapes to uncover the edges that only a coach would notice. Fletcher’s outstanding record success is proof positive of how profitable his one-of-a-kind low-volume handicapping method is.
