KWC2000- just out of curiosity- what did you learn that was of "value" that you didn't already know?  Please elaborate (if you would). I haven't listened to it yet but highly doubt anything will surface that I haven't been exposed to before. If so, I will gladly return to say "I stand corrected." I'm just so tired of people hyping me with stuff that doesn't really amount to anything more than some type of self-promotion. I consider my time valuable and get so tired of that type of bull-shit. I hope I'm wrong here but highly doubt it.

That was a wonderful listen.

Two thoughts.

RJ should suspend himself for asking Billy about losing his house. Just freaking tacky to bring that up.

Maybe Dave can clarify this..

Twice Billy mentioned being broke and living at the Las Vegas Country Club.

Just how do you do that being broke?:)

Oldhead the interview was not really for informational purposes it was mainly shedding some light on his past, some people that were influential in his life ect.  When it comes to gambling I take poker more seriously than sportsbetting so hearing that Billy Walters learned and played poker with Chip Reese and guys like Doyle Brunson and he mentioned Dewey so I assume he was talking about Dewey Tomko I found that interesting.

Stu was the best tournament player in that era and way ahead of his time. Chip Reese played every game at the highest level

I enjoyed it as well. Nicely done. Not many people in life get to do exactly what they were born to do. Billy had a passion for Gambling, and made a great living doing it. So many of us hate what we do for a living. He took chances in life that many would never do, and it payed off.
