Thursday evening offers a small but interesting MLB slate. There are only four games to choose from (Game 2 of the Houston/Minnesota DH isn't included) and all four have O/U lines ranging from 8 to 9.5.
At Draft Kings, which requires two pitchers per lineup, Duffy is the most expensive pitcher, followed by Kluber and then Lester. Martinez, Pineda and Rodriguez are mid-priced while Rodriguez and Chacin provide "cheaper" options. At FanDuel, which requires only one pitcher per lineup, Kluber and Lester are both more expensive than Duffy.
An added twist is that LA/Cleveland may have some questionable weather, while the same could potentially prove true at Wrigley, where there's also a bit of a breeze blowing out. (KC may also see some storms but they're expected to hold off until after the game.)
For now, I'm assuming all four games will go without interruption. However, we'll get a better idea of the true forecast a little closer to first pitch.
Given the wind and the fact that Martinez just got rocked by the Braves and Cubs' hitters figure to be pretty popular. Same goes for Cleveland hitters. Chacin's been terrible and the Indians have been hitting well at home all season.
I'm still finalizing my thoughts/lineup here but I'll check back in after I do. In the meantime, please feel free to comment.
