I been a student of Federal legislation for over 50 year now as we all as students of had to get Legislation Today and Congressional Reports in our Political Science legislation classes.I can state I know 50 years of Major Federal legislation and it clearly has a massive effect on ones material life. The working classes our especially hit from Federal legislation both from it down flow to the state and cities and how much taxes and services the pay for.
The two Major parties have almost completed control over 90% of the voting population and most of those voters have NO Concept of Federal Legislation and therefore vote on PURE emotion-like most betters do and of course end up losing.
Historically it been the Democrat's that have in the majority their party that has backed the working classes were as the Repub's have in the vase majority of their party voted against the working classes and still do today.
Both parties are on the TAKE and so it is the super 2% who give the most to congress Rep's ,so they get most of the down flow taxes paid by all, and the majority of the tax payers get any thing left over. This is also true with the federal money going to the States and local governments and if the feds need War money less goes to the States and cities and the avg. Joe must pay more taxes at those levels, not to mention sending their Sons to ruling class Wars!
