GUIDE to GAMBLING

Just a few tips I have picked up while betting sports over the past several years. Not necessarily rules, but more or less guidelines to help myself have a better opportunity to win. Being on the right side is what mostly matters as there are highs and lows to all gambling, but these will not hurt your already slim chances.

-Home teams ALWAYS have an advantage. Some teams more so than others. (Travel, Jet Lag, Crowd, Weather)

-Beware of teams coming off a BYE or a short week. Preparation and game plans are important. (Monday Night Football, Conference Tournaments, Bowl Games)

-Beware of teams coming off a big upset or a major win.

-In rivalry games records do not matter.

-Once you hit a wager on the OVER, you cannot lose. It is a more fun bet if you just want some action on a prime time game.

-Some trends matter.

-Never bet a 2nd half line if you are not watching the game.

-Do not get emotionally involved and then bet on a team. (Alma Mater, Favorite Team)

-Never go against a streaking team.

-Veterans and veteran teams seem to have an edge in the playoffs.

Find a $5 craps table and only bet the pass or the don't. The free drinks will outweigh the amount you'll lose per hour

As long as you don't play all the exotics which have a huge house edge, your money will last a lot longer

break up a 20 if the dealer is holding a 6..Who's cares if ppl get pissed off..You would want to see your 10 Vs. 6 hand after hand correct?....break up a 20..screw what the others say..live on the edge and piss everyone off..hit both hand..you feel like a genius.

This actually is a good strategy but only with a true count of +4 or better using standard hi/low

I told one guy the pass line/drinking strategy and he's like. "That doesn't sound like fun, I play blah blah blah and blah. Oh and I love to play blah"

I forgot losing money is more fun.
