Return of the Champions League tomorrow!
I think the match day is highlighted with Real Madrid hosting Paris Saint Germain. The two European giants lead their respective leagues. The winner of this contest will be the favorite to go through as the group winner, although both are expected to progress to the knockout stages regardless of the result. Real Madrid boss Rafa Benitez said that James Rodriguez should be back in some capacity. The Colombian's creativity has been missing in Los Blanco's attacks and although they've yet to lose a game this season, the Madridistas of the Bernabeau expect their Galacticos to play beautiful football. The first match was played to a draw in Paris, but will be see a more wide-open affair this time? I think the home crowd will let the whistles fly if they see otherwise.
Perhaps the most exciting matchup will be between Sevilla and Manchester City. Sevilla, who earned their entrance to this competition by winning the Europa League are in desperate need of a win, if they have any hope of progressing from the Group Stages. Sevilla are absolute monsters at home, and have even claimed the scalp of Barcelona when they came to visit the Estadio Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán earlier this season.
Here's hoping for some good action!
