Jess wants to see more of Pauly Howard in a bathrobe. LOL
The main story right now is that Phil Ivey is at the tournament. Not in a bathrobe though. LOL He has a huge following and is playing in tournaments.
Phil did show up for the $111,000 One-Drop High Roller and while he did bust in that tournament there are plenty of other ones coming up for him to be involved in. The Ivey fan base will get their fill of him coming up.
Is Phil Ivey the best in the world of poker? Jess states that when you break down the poker landscape there are really 3 things you are judged on and that is Tournaments, Cash Games and Online Poker and someone that can exceed in all 3 are few and far in between. Phil is one of those that can.
Phil Hellmuth just won his 14th bracelet and Phil has 10. Phil understands that bracelets are something the public can identify with, so does it seem that Phil is not interested in winning bracelets? Honestly Jess feels that he does care about winning bracelets, but he cares more about winning money.
Phil Ivey has had great success playing online under his own name, but then he switched his name and is now down over 9 million since that switch. Jess doesn't feel that those databases are all that accurate and one reason is that you don't know who is playing on his switched name.
He is still down, but he himself may not be as much.
