Yup if Boise St had a chance when not this year but year before i think they would have won it all or atleast been in a championship game in a playoffs. Titus Young,Kellen Moore and all the studs they had. That team was no joke

Yes. I very much agree. Didn't mean to leave the Broncos out, but they can play with anyone and the diffence betweeN them and OSU is they have a defense. It shouldn't matter what schedule you play. they can only beat the teams that are put in front of them and they have done that year in an year out. We really do need a playoff system. I kept hearing from ESPN how the BCS worked. WELL NO IT DIDN'T!!!

Defenses win championships it has been proven over and over and over again. but i feel that OSU or stanford would have had a better chance than LSU. Alabama would have been in a much tougher fight vs those two, while I feel that LSU would have at least lost to OSU. If Bama had beaten LSU in the first one, would LSU have deserved to be in this game with a high school caliber QB? I don't think so. Alabama and lsu each would have scored like 49 points against osu. These seethe 2 elite defensive units in football. All osu had to do was put an Iowa state win in the books, but they could not get a stop against that garbage. How can bcs put a team with an Ot loss to Iowa state in over a team with an Ot loss to the #1?
I would have pity if they didn't control their own destiny and blow it. Like the auburn case A few years ago or Boise/tcu 2 yrs ago
i think you can look at this game both ways. a half glass full aproach would apreciate that this was one of the greatest defensive performances one has ever seen in a bowl game. think about it. bama held the number1 team in the country in their own territory for 90% of the game. wether you think different teams should be there or not, thats prety impressive. with that being said i would be happy if they seriously looked at implementing a playoff system

You don't appreciate a quality quarterback until you don't have one. Few teams have the good fortune of making the transition from a Peyton Manning to Andrew Luck as the Colts are prepared to do. When Romo is done, it may be 5-10-15 years before the Cowboys find another quarterback of his ability.

No, OSU didn't deserve a chance because they lost as 28pt underdogs to IOWA STATE.. All they had to do was take care of business and they would've played last night..
I've never seen such knee jerk reactions in my entire life.. Give the defenses and coaching some credit here..
