The 12:00 PM (9:00 AM Pacific) game featuring Michigan and Ohio State has taken in over 15,000 bets with 79% of the bets coming in on Ohio St at -20.5 (give or take). I know that Michigan is bad, but aren't there players on the team that are desperately trying to put good plays on tape in preparation for the NFL draft? On the flip side I understand that Ohio St is desperately trying to get ranked in the top 4 but can they make one of the biggest rivalries in NCAAF a blowout? I'll be on the Michigan side here.
The 3:30 PM (12:30 PM Pacific) game featuring Mississippi St vs Ole' Miss has taken in almost 11,000 bets with 85% of the bets on Miss St at -3. I believe it was Ken Thomson that said he was going to wait for that line to creep up for Miss St. and that he would grab Ole' Miss plus the points. I'll agree with Ken and all that sharp money so I'll be on Ole' Miss plus the points.
On the total side, the Mich/Ohio St game has been heavily bet (91%) on the Over. As for the Miss St/Ole' Miss, 72% of the bets have been on the Under. Because it's involving totals, you can't exactly say which side is square or sharp but you would have to think that the sharps are on both Unders.
Yes, yes, I know that playing NCAAF teasers are just plain stupid. I just might be stupid enough to take this one though:
Michigan +33.5, Mich/OSU Under 65, Ole' Miss +16, Miss St/Ole' Miss Under 62.5.
