You know, I had a dream last night that I was a Bookie, and all of my customers all bet all their money on the same team, and now I had to sweat this game out like it was life or death.
I woke up and thought how great it would be if all the $25, $50, and $100 dollar bettors out there who like to bet on games but they do no better than win some-lose some, the juice eats them up, and they wind up being a losing player. The people that fit in that category have to be at least two-thirds of the entire sports betting market.
What if all the people in that category decided to get together and stop handicapping alone. Everyone offering their thoughts, insights, and opinions on the games at hand. The group taking into account what the opinion says and the ability of the bettor making it. After the analysis of the opinions, as a group they come to a conclusion as to who the selection should be, and then as a group they all bet the game. What a nightmare for a bookie that would be.
I guess we'll all go at it on our own again this week. Here's who I'm on...
