Although I do expect that the Ohio teams sweep the early games I think that a couple of the Royals' LHBs give Kluber enough trouble to keep me off the Tribe at the price. I do like the Under 8 (-115) some.
Cincinnati Reds (-112) ~ A little concerned, as the Bucs have hit LHP well. Not this lefty, though.
Chicago Cubs (-115) Mini ~ This is an estimate as I haven't seen the line yet. After losing late yesterday, expect the Cubs get on the board early for Edwin(less). Probably see runs early.....AND? late today. Not sure how high the total is set today, but the Over mini may also be worth a look if at 5 or so? Bolsinger has averaged only 3+ innings, so expect we see the Snakes' bullpen early. How early is up to Chicago.......at 6, I will pass on the mini total, although it is very well within reach.
Not that Max generally needs any help, but a lot of these Sox have taken him deep. That shouldn't happen today unless it is Dunn. He has been taken yard in each of his last 3 starts. Tigers have not fared well facing Quintana. Scary game for a Detroit fan, IMO.
Chicago White Sox +1½ (-110) ~ I don't really care who is on the hill.....these Sox can hit. Unless Max is going the distance on a cool and windy day in Detroit, we will see that Tigers' bullpen again.
Chicago White Sox (+200) ½ unit ~ Getting 2/1, I will take these kids pretty well every time. Adam Dunn could be the difference?
NY Yankees/Boston Red Sox Over 8½ (-115) ~ Beware here as the line appears a bit fishy. Just not sure how a cross-wind will affect the total. I do expect that some balls that would generally clear the Monster will be off the wall, but those are still usually doubles. These two lefties can be hit.....hard.
New York Yankees (+106) ~ Not sure they needed any additional incentive, but the Pineda debacle won't hurt. They have hurt lefties and I expect it again. Not being sure how it affects them and it could possibly be negatively, it will remain a single.
St Louis Cardinals -1½ (+125) ~ I have seen enough to believe that Lynn is back on track and that the Mets are in trouble here. Cardinals (-136) is a bit steep, so it may be used in a parlay. I think the Fatboy may have overstayed his welcome?
The Over at the Trop looks way too easy. Not falling for it.....beware. With these two starters, I do not know how it stays Under, but I wouldn't bet that it doesn't. That L/M may be talking to us. Just sayin'.......
Not sure what happened, but my Oakland plays seem to have vanished...LOL
Oakland A's (-155) For parlay use only. The A's haven't hit lefties well enough to back the RL, but the Astros' .188 BA at home is enough to deter me.
Under 4 (-115) Mini ~ Both teams with OBPs south of .300 facing southpaws. Expect early runs to be at a premium.
Minnesota Twins (+142) ~ Found one last tidbit that tipped the scales enough for me on this one. Simple matinee numbers.
Minnesota Twins (+130) Mini ~ The Rays have just not been early-risers.
Here's the parlay I am on at about +1350;
St Louis Cardinals Over 3½ (-130)
Washington Nationals (-165)
Minnesota Twins +1½ (-160)
Oakland Athletics (-157)
Baltimore Orioles/Toronto Blue Jays Over 9 (-110)
