Ok so I've been pretty clear about how I feel about GOYs so you I'm for real so here goes.
I'm recommending a play in the NY Yankees tonight. I live 20 minutes from the stadium and the energy here is modest as far the Yankees making the playoffs. However everyone I know who loves the Yanks has been heading out to the stadium for the last week or so to see Jeter play for the last time. It's a big deal here, as he's the last of those 90s Yanks that we all loved and so everything right now is for Derek. The energy is massive, and as the temperatures are dropping and the end of the season is approaching, this team and their fans are all in for one last push. Ubaldo Jimenez didn't pitch for a month and surprised with a solid outing last week in Toronto. But I honestly under these circumstances don't see him coming out and pitching another gem. Plus the Orioles are pretty much set in their playoff push so I see them looking ahead a bit here. McCarthy on the other hand has been great at the Stadium since coming over, and that compounded with the loving energy here in New York, I just don't see this being a loss for the Yanks.
As Spartan says there are NO LOCKS, but I'm very confident in this team right now and although we're laying -160, I think Yanks pull out a 4-2, 4-1 victory.
