(Risking $25.00 To Win $17.86) LA Dodgers -140 over SAN DIEGO: I will be going with the Dodgers in this one. Los Angeles is clearly the better team here and they have a huge advantage on the mound with Ryu over Stults, plus they are also the much better team at the plate as well. Ryu is 5-1 with a 1.64 ERA on the road this year and has an 0.68 ERA in 2 career starts vs the Padres. Question here is will this San Diego offense score at all off of Ryu? I'd say there is a pretty good chance they don't. The Padres have averaged just 3.0 rpg on the year overall, while they have scored just 3.14 rpg at home and have hit lefties at a .198 clip overall this year. The Dodgers offense has put up 5+ rpg in their last 6 games overall and they have averaged 4.59 rpg on the road, so they should have a good time vs Stults, who has a 6.38 ERA and a 1.57 WHIP at home, while in his last 3 starts overall he is 0-3 with a 9.49 ERA and a 1.95 WHIP. This one will go the way of the Dodgers.
(Risking $25.00 To Win $19.84) WASHINGTON -126 over Atlanta: Washington has not fared well vs the Braves of late, but they did take last night's game and I feel they have a solid edge on the mound in this one. On a team with Strasburg, Zimmerman and Gonzalez, the most consistent pitcher on this team has been Tanner Roark, who comes in with a 6-4 mark and a 2.85 ERA on the year. He seems to be getting better as he is 3-0 with a 1.42 ERA in his last 3 starts, with the Nats outscoring their foes by 3.7 rpg in those last 3 starts. Ervin Santana is heading the other way, as he is 0-2 with a 4.19 ERA in his last 3 starts and the Braves have been outscored by 3.66 rpg in those starts. Santana also has a 7.79 ERA in 3 day starts, while Tanner has a 1.80 ERA in his 5 day starts. Tanner's worst outing of the year was vs the Braves, so I expect him to be even more focused vs them in this one and last year he did face them once here and allowed 0 ERs and 2 hits in 7 innings of work, in a 4-0 Nats win. This looks like the perfect spot for the Nats to pick up another rare win vs the Braves.

(Risking $18.00 To Win $15.00) Texas/ LA Angels Under 7.5 (-120): ESPN Sunday night games tend to be low scoring, and with the pitching matchup we have in this one, I expect nothing less than a pitcher's duel. Yu Darvish has been excellent for the Rangers this year, as he comes in with a 2.39 ERA overall and a 2.75 ERA on the road. He has also pitched well in this park, where he has a 2.43 ERA in 6 career starts. Matt Schoemaker has been both a starter and a reliever and has done a good job as a starter, posting a 3.41 ERA in his 6 starts, compared to a 5.63 ERA in his 5 relief appearances this year. Both offenses have been hot, but i still see this as a 3-2 type game, as the pitching will rule this one.
