Isn't Murphy the only one out of the lineup today, and he's horrid against lefties - 26 wRC+.
As far as the rest go, here are their wRC+ against lefties this year:
Curtis Granderson -6 wRC+ (69 AB's)
Ruben Tejada +126 wRC+ (49 AB's)
Wilmer Flores +136 wRC+ (61 AB's)
John Mayberry +85 wRC+ (59 AB's)
Eric Campbell +91 wRC+ (30 AB's)
Lucas Duda +160 wRC+ (18 AB's)
Juan Lagares +122 (69 AB's)
Anthony Recker +165 wRC+ (94 AB's)
That's not too bad. I have no idea why Granderson is in the lineups when a lefty is on the mound. He's absolutely horrible. Think about it, an average MLB hitter is at +100 wRC+. So obviously anything above that is solid (Duda is 60% better against lefties than an average MLB hitter) and anything below is subpar (Mayberry is 15% worse against lefties than an average MLB hitter). Granderon's -6 wRC+ (not a typo!! - 36% K-rate and 0.159 OBP) is basically 106% WORSE than an average MLB hitter against lefties. Hell, probably some of us in here could have a better mark than that, by just standing there and taking pitchers at every AB.
In any case, you take Granderson out of this lineup, and the rest isn't too bad. Heck, 5 of the other 7 hitters are all 120+ wRC+ against lefties. Obviously sample sizes are small for all of these guys (all less than 100 AB's against lefties, which tells us virtually NOTHING), but at least some of them have done well against lefties so far this year. Of course Kershaw is NO ordinary lefty.
Good luck fellas.
