Many of the big bet games were losers for the public yesterday.
The big story was the Cards losing a rare home game. It was a classic pitcher's duel between Sale and Lynn, which the Cubs eventually won in extra innings. It was a case of the Pen for the Sox really doing their job, which is something they haven't done this year.
It it an automatic to back the Cards at home off a home loss? Scott says that if anything it would be an automatic no-play on the other side for him.
Ken feels it is tough because the Cards do have a depleted lineup, but the Sox are not playing good ball at the moment.
The Cards, Texas, Kansas City, Minnesota and Houston were the top money making teams through June. Just like we all called it huh?
Who do you play on or against in July? Ken states that he is looking to play against his Mets, who do have some solid pitching, but just not enough hitting to carry them very far. They have to make a trade for a bat or they will be very mediocre the rest of the season. Maybe the Mets should move Matz to the cleanup spot. LOL.
Stephen feels that St Louis has to come back to earth. They have solid pitching, but their offense is really depleted and that should catch up with them. He does look for a regression from this team.
