Every Friday night Aaron Bruski joins the show to talk all things NBA.
The NBA Finals are set with the Cleveland Cavaliers taking on the Golden State Warriors.
Aron states that if you are backing the Cavs then your biggest concern is that they have a huge mountain to climb here. He feels the only way that they have a shot is that if Lebron plays like Lebron should play. He has a few flaws, but this is the best Lebron Aaron has seen of him in a while. The other concern for the Cavs is the supporting cast and the fact that Kyrie is hurt more than letting on right now.
He states that the Warriors just need to play their game and they will be fine, but of Lebron goes in there and tears them apart then they will have some issues.
Is the Warriors offense too much for Cleveland and who should Klay Thompson guard on the Cavs? Aaron feels that they will put him on JR Smith, who is no James Harden. Playing better defense should also help his confidence on offense.
Who does the long layoff help more? Without question it favors the Cavs, who are just trying to get Irving healthy in time. He is really banged up right now. Aaron also feels that both teams are pretty evenly matched that homecourt just may not be an issue, which could lead to the Cavs stealing game 1 in Oakland.
The MVP Odds are out and can anyone but Curry or Lebron win it? Aaron states that if Cleveland wins the title it will be Lebron, but if the Warriors win it then there could be a darkhorse and that is Draymond Green, who will fill up the stat sheet and could contain Lebron some.
The Warriors do have solid depth and have 4 or 5 guys that they can throw at Lebron to keep him off guard.
On to other news, JohnWall has some issues right now and it's been because he is really hanging with the wrong crowd. He may be down to his last strike.
Who takes over as coach at Chicago? Aaron feels that it is Fred Hoiberg's job to lose right now.
