NBA Picks in the 2008 Draft
NBA picks in the 2008 Draft look to be dominated by underclassmen yet again. One scouting service has Memphis point guard Derrick Rose as the top NBA pick while Kansas State forward Michael Beasley is another popular choice. Both players left school after their freshman years to become NBA picks. In fact, the first senior to become an NBA pick might not be until #19, as the Cleveland Cavaliers could take Rider's Jason Thompson. Six of the first seven NBA picks could end up being freshmen, with Arizona's Jerryd Bayless, USC's O.J. Mayo, LSU's Anthony Randolph and Texas A&M's DeAndre Jordan all expected to be selected in the Top 10.
