We cashed last week with our comp release as the Titans got the cash for us down in Miami. Not the most beautiful thing to actually watch but who really gives a rip, the thing cashed. The record with these now stands at 3-2 on the season. Should be 4-1 but oh well, bitching does no good. Bottom line is I gave my word to RJ I would do this every thursday and once the word is given, well that is all she wrote.
Okay, here we go. This will not be a popular choice. All the reason I like it all the better. I am taking the Kansas City Chiefs on the road to get the win at Oakland. Right now you can readily get the Chiefs laying the single digit. Oakland is playing much better, and I am frankly glad to see it. The NFL is more entertaining when the Raiders are relevant. It's no excuse Al Davis left the team in dire straits. No slam on Davis really, the guy was a maverick and pioneer. I liked him. It was just that towards the end he had no business having his fingers in any football or financial decisions. Everybody loves crazy old grandpa too. But I wouldn't want him help shaping my NFL roster. I'd rather have him sitting comfortably in his chair at home with his drool rag handy. Seriously, I like the Raiders and respect the franchise. The Chiefs and Raiders used to be a really, really big deal around here. This should be a good game sunday. I like the Chiefs to bounce back from that humiliation on that sunday night last time out in Pittsburgh, That was like clubbing baby seals and they are better than that. And yes, it is a stubborn fact that Andy Reid is tough as pig iron off a bye week. The guy has cashed twelve of the last seventeen against the number coming off one of these off weeks. Add to that the bitter taste in this teams mouths after that beat down in the steel city. Man, this team has been chewing over that game and pondering it now for a couple of weeks come sunday. They will be ready to spit nails and take out some frustrations. Add to the mix the fact they are going up against a bitter divisional foe in the Raiders. I like our chances here. Oakland, all respect due, needs to prove to me how well they deal with success. This is kind of uncharted waters this team is presently sailing in. And let's be candid here, the Chargers left an early christmas present in Oakland last sunday. Rivers and company should have won that ball game. I booked for several years. I look at some games though the eyes of former clients. With many of them I could tell who they were going to bet before they told me. Oakland is one of those spots this sunday. When you are in the book in Vegas sometimes you would have that insurance salesman on vacation from Idaho sitting behind you with his golfing pal from back home. There was no real need to do any actual handicapping. Just listen carefully to those two square heads and take notes. I can easily hear them babbling about what a lock the Raiders are at home this week. Let's pound them and put them in all our parlay cards too. What a steal. Good Lord Agnes, how many times did I overhear that drivel.
So there it is, I am suggesting a play this sunday for my forum friends on the Kansas City Chiefs.
On the business end I have my top NFL Triple Star Rabid Dog loaded and ready to roll. We cashed last sunday with the Chargers cashing the ticket and have won on 6 of 8 this season to date. This is my favorite game on the entire board and it's up and available.
Many thanks as always and best of luck to us. Enjoy the games.
