Many of you have asked about my Fall Football Schedule, here is what you can expect from me EACH week during football Season:
It's late September and as Rod Stewart says "I REALLY SHOULD BE BACK IN SCHOOL!". And by School I mean studying football 24/7, living breathing, eating it! We got out of the gate strong, 15-5 in the regular season NFL, 20-13 in CFB, and 10-3 on 3* Top selections (5-1 NFL).
That's all in the rear view mirrow, however, and it's time to keep burning the midnight Oil..........I may well be THE most one dimensional person you will meet Sept-Nov. I don't watch movies. I don't watch any TV that isn't football. I take a 15 minute 'break' from time to time to watch the NFL channel, OR reveiw a team's schedule looking for sandwich spots. Sat-Sun I am wagering and live wagering all day long (making notes on teams as I go). Late Sunday night and Monday I am watching NFL rewind, watching some or all of the games I have missed. Further, unlike some handicappers, EVERY bet I give out I have bet myself (along with several others that were not widely available or were made live bets, or that I released as 'leans). So, Monday I am reviewing those bets/reconciling results/and learning from where I was right and wrong. Tuesday I am updating power ratings, and by Tuesday Night/Wed I am typically firing in NFL bets (and with luck spending one evening off for dinner with the family). I also am checking what lookahead lines WERE for the prior week, AND betting some NFL games that won't start for 12 days (I just fired on HOU -6 hosting Ten). (note I DO at time fire into openers as early as early Sunday Night)
Wed-Th I am coordinating with my best CFB guys, sharing info (I give them NFL info, and they give me CFB key stuff). I then handicap from their CFB lists, and select the games that make the most sense TO ME (I of course have the final say). I take a "break" Wed, 4pm-8pm to do the Dream Pod where we discuss NFL, and then shoot videos where we discuss key games, and I give top notch analysis.
BOOM, by Thursday CFB plays are out, often with LARGE line moves after my releases, especially on totals. We have already NAILED several winners on games that moved 5 points well after release, and we won since we got the best of it by releasing early. I am combing over large NFL props for the Thursday night game, and typically by Thurs afternoon I have made bets, and often release a prop or two to bet. That's good cause, every Thursday I do my best to pick up my 5 year old and play Soccer with him 3:30-4:30 (he doesn't like Football....it takes up too much of Daddy's time).
By 5pm I am firing in last minute prop and regular bets, then Live bets on Thursday Night, taking notes, watching the odds screen, and I typically do my best to get a good night's sleep.
Friday arrives and I can take a deeper dive into games on my short list, often checking on weather. Further, I will check my contacts, often getting on a key play or two based on late injury and other information (AJ Green's wife just had a baby this week.......maybe not the best week to load up on him in fantasy leagues). I fire out weekend releases, I head to the strip, and put in some more bets, and my Super Contest picks at midnight.
Sat am, and a last chance to check late information, and often fade line moves I disagree with, ditto for Sunday.
It's not easy to win at Sports Betting. Aa I said in the Movie Life On the Line "Treat it like a business, don't have fun, and the rewards will be there"
