The AFC South has always been a cupcake division. Indy and Hou have decent teams, they roll patheric Jax and Ten and make playoff appearances. As a colllective unit, the division has been very much below average.
In 2016 there is optimism across the board. Luck is back, for Indy, Hou finally has a quarterback. The Jaguars and Titans both look greatly improved with up and coming real quarterbacks.
However, the schedule is going to get in the way big time for these teams. The teams have to play eight games this year vs. the NFC North and AFC West. Those divisions are the two best collective divisions in football, without one bad team. Further, the mere fact the entire AFC South is so improved will make it that much more difficult for teams IN the division used to having an easy division slate. With 14 of 16 games suddenly against mostly decent or good teams, these AFC South teams are going to have a tough time of it, especially considering they are used to having numerous easy games on their schedules in past years.
Add it all up, and NO WAY I am looking anything but "UNDER" for the season wins of all these AFC South Teams.
What do you guys think? Do you agree? Who in the AFC South do you think is the best "UNDER" season win bet?
On the handicapping front, I am 20-4 on MLB totals, and I have a HUGE 3* SLOWROLL UNDER release on today's MLB card!
