A tremendous weekend of sports is in the books! What did we learn?
NBA
Going into the weekend, Golden State looked like a tired team, losing at home to Boston and (gulp) Minnesota. However, they found a way to win @SA, and are in position to break the 1995-1996 Bulls record. I was curious how those Bulls did in the playoffs.

What can we possibly learn from these going into the playoffs? In general 'basic strategy' in the playoffs says look to back great teams game 1 of the series. When these teams crush their opponents game 1, usually game 2 is the one home game the dominant team slips up in, and we saw that from the Bulls.
The Bulls didn't see many long series, but we do have to note how the one game 6 was so low scoring, put a great team in a long series, and games 6 and 7 tend to almost always be solid 'under' bets.
Golf:
The Master's collapse we saw helps to show us just how great Tiger Woods was in his prime. Would that have EVER happened to Tiger? It also shows how difficult it is to win betting the 'needle in the haystack' props are. How many had Danny Willett winning (other than Brady Kannon!) ? If you did your reseach and saw he just had a baby, I would have been just as likely to bet on Danny Partridge or Carl Spackler to wear the green Jacket.
MLB:
My goal in 2016 is to look to fade teams in horrible spots, and the Padres are most certainly in one today. They got bagelled (no runs) to start the season vs. the Dodgers, but their bats woke up in Colorado. However, they have to travel East to Philly today for a noon PST start time. Advantage, Philly, and we FIRE on them here as a free play.
I LOVE a later game today, I step it up BIG, with my 3* MLB Runline GAME OF THE MONTH. I put my lifetime 84-55 3* BEST BET record at Pregame on the line tonight!
