It happens all the time. You like a CBB game "under" 136, but haven't gotten around to betting it. You come back to your computer and start cursing as the screen has gone BLACK and it's moved to 133.5. You frantically find a 1h stale UNDER 63, bet peanuts on it, and reluctanly pass.
Fast Forward 4 hours, the total never comes back and in fact closes 132: The game starts and both teams hit 3/4 from 3 to start the game, and the score 4 minutes in is 12-10, and you mentally rip up your UNDER bet, and you are happy you didn't get stuck with the game under.
However, what you likely SHOULD be doing is consider banging the UNDER 141 on the live wagering! Power line moves lose all the time, but I have found the moves on totals (especially unders) to be especially sharp. It is rare that these plays just get crushed......they lose all the time, but most of them have some pretty sharp people banging them. If you can selectively spot times to jump on board, you can do VERY well.
One Caveat: Be careful about just blindly bettting EVERY one of these situations. It sounds impossible, but you most certainly can lose betting a pfolio of UNDER 141s on games like this, despite the sharps having been on UNDER 136! The reason is you will miss all the wire to wire easy winners, and only get on board with the plays that may not have been as strong, or even correct at all...........what you REALLY want to find it the slow paced game that SHOULD be 7-6, but the scoreboard is just lighting up due to lucky good shooting early.........in those cases, if the sharps liked UNDER preflop, usually it is time to BOMB AWAY on the UNDER post flop.
On the capping Front, I am ALL OVER the NBA All Star Game, my package is going up NOW, 1st pick going UP!
