I've never looked more forward to this weekly thread of yours, sparty. The Dawgs/Tigers is my most anticipated game to watch of the season so far. I hit big with Mizzou + 5.5 as an outright winner in the other Columbia a couple of weeks back, but got to admit that this Saturday's contest has me backing off of doing anything.
Georgia has the edge in points per game, yards gained, yards allowed, red zone offense, penalties, the kicking game, time of possession ... you name it!
And yet, I look to down at my cap sheet and see Mizzou - 3 with a big circle around it. WTF? (And this time that does not stand for Wrong Team Favored,)
I honestly believe that Maty can totally pick UGA's secondary apart ... if the Mizzou brain trust lets him do it! What I am afraid of is that the Tigers will show up with a game plan that favors long, ground drives in an effort to give you know who and company as little offensive field time as possible.
That strategy would make a game out of it.
I have hit on every Missouri game I played this year. I will keep that record intact by not playing this one. In fact, my plays are already up with this one conspicuously missing from the card.
But by making it a no play, at least I'll know who to pull for in this one!
Best of luck with your plays this week, buddy.
