The Major League Baseball season continue this evening with a game between the San Diego Padres and the Atlanta Braves. The game is scheduled for a 7:00 p.m. start time and it will be televised live on ESPN. Currently the MLB Odds for the game have the host Braves favored to pick up the win here at home.

Atlanta has been pretty solid at home this season, winning 15 of the 21 games played so far there this season. San Diego has been strong away from home, sporting a record of 13-8, which is not bad at all. Yesterday's game was rained out and tonight should have no concerns from weather. 

I like San Diego throwing Yu Darvish (3-1, 2.43) here in this one. He's made only two starts away from home this season but has been fairly effective, something I expect to continue in this contest tonight. So far in a pair of starts in May, Darvish has yet to yield an earned run 12 innings of work, striking out 12. He's been solid.

Bryce Elder (1-1, 4.79) throws for the Braves. His splits certainly favor being at home (1.50 ERA vs 9.35 away) but I like the Padres to be able to piece together some offense tonight. Neither team has been lights on offensively recently, though.

This looks like a game that could be lower-scoring, then. Because of that, I will trust Darvish here to keep the Braves off balanced and the Padres in the game. I like them to win tonight and getting a solid price helps.
