The Cleveland Indians are hosting Game 2 of the World Series tonight in Major League Baseball action. The game is scheduled for an 7:05 p.m. start time and it will be televised nationally on FOX. The World Series Odds for the game have the Cubs favored to pick up the win.

This game is being moved up an hour by Major League Baseball with the threat of some nasty weather moving into Cleveland. It further brings up the conversation of potentially starting World Series games earlier than the standard 8:05 first pitch, but getting an early start tonight to avoid some bad weather seems like a positive move.
Jake Arrieta is heading to the mound for the Cubs. Chicago is hoping he has a better start than Jon Lester last night as the Cubs look to sneak one of the two games in Cleveland into the win column. Being able to split as the road team in the opening two games of the World Series is the goal and Chicago believes they have an excellent chance with Arrieta getting the ball. During the regular season he won 11 road starts and had a solid 3.59 ERA. Yet, during the post season Chicago dropped both of his starts.
Cleveland was 25 games over the .500 mark in home games during the regular season. They are sending Trevor Bauer to the bump in this one. He threw just 21 pitches in his last start against Toronto in the NLDS because he was bleeding all over the mound after an accident with a drone. Bauer appears to be ready to go in this one and Terry Francona has the confidence in him. His ERA at home was a full run higher than it was in road starts, which could be a problem against a Cubs team that loves to feast on fastballs and swing early in counts.
The Indians need a solid start from Bauer because once they get into that bullpen, it's a serious disadvantage for the Cubs.
