Djokovic entered the tournament as the top overall seed while Federer was the second seed. It seems fitting they would reach the finals here to matchup once again in a Grand Slam final across the net from each other. Djokovic won the Wimbledon title last year and he's looking to earn his fifth victory at the All England Club.

Federer has dominated in his career at Wimbledon. He won five consecutive titles from 2003-07 and has eight total championships at the All England Club. He last won the title in 2017, earning a straight-sets victory over Marin Cilic in the finals. Federer hasn't won a Grand Slam title since the 2018 Australian Open.

These two have met in 47 previous matches, with Djokovic holding a 25-22 advantage. Djokovic has won each of the last three meetings overall, though those have all come on hardcourts. The two last met at Wimbledon in 2014 when Djokovic won in five sets in the finals.
