Pick: Going with the Royals in this game. I look for KC to salvage one game of this and a big reason is that they clearly have the edge on the mound here. Vincent Velasquez had a very nice first career starts vs the White Sox, but since then he has a 5.02 ERA in 3 starts. He will be taking on a KC offense that has sputtered in this series so far and I expect them to break out in this one. On the other side we have Edinson Volquez, who has pitched very well this year and is also 6-0 with a 2.09 ERA in 8 career starts vs the Astros. I feel the Royals have the clear edge on the mound and they should also have the added incentive to not being swept. Look for the royals to take this one.
