The New York Knicks will look to extend their current winning streak to 13 games when they welcome the Washington Wizards to Madison Square Garden later this evening. Sportsbook.ag is expecting them to do just that as the latest NBA Odds at the offshore bookmaker are favoring the Knicks at -9 against the spread and -525 on the moneyline ($525 wins $100). Start time in tonight’s contest, which features a game total of 194 points, is set for 7:30pm ET.

While no one really believe New York can defeat the Miami Heat in a seven game playoff series, the Knicks are at least making the prospect of a postseason showdown with LeBron James and company interesting.

New York, which blasted the Heat 102-90 in Miami on April 2^nd, recorded its 12^th consecutive win on Sunday with an impressive 125-120 win at Oklahoma City.

Carmelo Anthony continued his unbelievable play in the Knicks victory over the Thunder, recording 36 points on 15-of-29 shooting to go along with 12 rebounds. As a team New York, which is 7-0 in its last seven home games, hit 15-of-34 from beyond the arc and 46-of-93 from the field.

Washington, which fell to 29-48 overall with a 107-96 loss at Boston on Sunday, may not seem like much a threat to the Knicks streak, but it has played decent basketball for the better part of the last month.

The Wizards, a 7-31 road team, are 9-6 since March 13^th with nice wins over the Bucks, Lakers, Grizzlies, Bulls, and Pacers. Unfortunately for Washington, all but one of those victories (L.A.) took place at the Verizon Center in D.C.

Washington snapped a 10 game losing streak against the Knicks with a 106-96 home win against New York on February 6^th; however, New York returned the favor on March 1^st with a 96-88 victory in the nation’s capitol. The Wizards have not won at Madison Square Garden since December of 2006 (0-9 in their last nine visits to NewYork).
