The NBA Playoffs continue on Tuesday night and I will have a free pick in the game between the Washington Wizards and the Toronto Raptors, which will take place at Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Ontario. The game has a start time of 8:00 pm (Eastern) and will be televised on NBA Tv Current Vegas betting odds have Toronto listed as 5 point favorites, while the total is set at 191.5. 

Analysis: Many felt the Wizards had what it takes to upset the Raptors in their round 1 series and they started off the playoffs with a very nice win over them in OT. The Wizards are now 18-24 on the road this year. Washington has gone 5-1 ATS in their last 6 road games, but just 4-13-1 ATS in their last 18 games playing on 2 days rest. The Wizards have been an average offensive team this year, ranking 17th in scoring (98.5 ppg), 6th in shooting, 9th in 3 point shooting and 21st in FT shooting. Defensively the Wizards have been solid this year, ranking 10th in points allowed (97.8 ppg), 2nd in defensive FG% and 14th in 3 point defense.  

The Raptors played in the rather weak Atlantic Division, in which they were the only team with a wining record. Toronto played well down the stretch, but that did not translate into a win in game 1 of this series as they lost 93-86 in OT. Toronto has gone 7-16 ATS in their last 23 home games and 2-10 ATS in their last 12 games vs. a team with a winning S.U. record. The Raptors have be a good offensive team this year, ranking 4th in scoring (104.0 ppg), 12th in shooting, 11th in 3 point shooting and 2nd in FT shooting. Defensively the Raptors have been average this year, ranking 19th in points allowed (100.9 ppg), 26th in defensive FG% and 13th in 3 point defense. 

Pick: I will go with the Under in this game. Game 1 saw just 179 points scored and the teams needed OT to get there and now 3 of the 4 games between these teams this year put up 188 points or less. Washington has played very good defense all year and they have major troubles scoring on the road, where they average just 94.4 ppg on the year. Toronto can score at home, but the Wizards shut them down in game 1 and I see that here as well. Should be another tight game with no more than 185 points being scored.
