Chicago Bulls vs Cleveland Cavaliers NBA Playoff Betting Odds Game 5 Free Pick

Round 2 of the NBA Playoffs continue on Tuesday night and we will see the Chicago Bulls take on the Cleveland Cavaliers in game 5 of their best-of-seven series at Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio. Free Pick to follow. The game has a start time of 7:00 pm (Eastern) and will be televised on TNT. Current Vegas betting odds have Cleveland listed as 5 point favorites, while the total is set at 191.5.

Analysis: The Chicago Bulls Took game 1 in Cleveland and then their first game at home in the series, but the Cavs have bounced back each time and they did just that one Sunday when Lebron hit a 2 point shot at the buzzer. Now the scene shifts back to Cleveland and the Bulls have been a solid 26-20 on the road this year. Chicago has scored 100.0 ppg on 44.6% shooting overall and 37.2% from long range on the road this year. Defensively they have been solid away from home, allowing just 97.4 pg on 42.8% shooting overall and 33.4% shooting from long range.

Buzzer beaters seem to be the norm in this series now as the last 2 games have been decided at the buzzer. In game 3 in was Derrick Rose who won it for the Bulls and in game 4 it was Lebron’s last second shot that won it for the games and has tied up the series at 2 games apiece. Back to Cleveland now where the Cavs have gone Cavs are 34-11 on the year. Cleveland has gone The Cavaliers have been a good offensive team at home this year, scoring 103.4 ppg on 46.6% shooting overall and 38.5% shooting from long range. Defensively the Cavaliers have been solid at home, where they have allowed just 95.9 ppg on 46.6% shooting overall and 35.2% shooting from long range.

Pick: I am going with the Over in this game. I know that the game have been rather low scoring, but still 3 of the 4 games have put up more than tonight's total. The Cavs really shot poorly in their two games at Chicago. but I expect that to change on the home floor where they will play a bit uptempo, which should create more of an offensive flow by them. The Cavs have averaged 103.4 ppg on the home floor and the Bulls have allowed 97 ppg on the road. The Cavs have allowed just 95.9 ppg on their home floor, but this Bulls offense is sneaky good and they do average 100 ppg on the road. Game 4 saw a serious under pace set in the game, but the other 3 have all been on Over paces heading into the 4th and I see this one as them same, but that pace should stay up a bit even in the 4th. I look for this one to be played in the upper 190s.
