Tom Brady Doubles Down on Vegas: Strikes Deal to Purchase Ownership Stake in Raiders

Tom Brady Doubles Down on Vegas: Strikes Deal to Purchase Ownership Stake in Raiders

The Las Vegas Raiders have announced that legendary quarterback and future Hall of Famer, Tom Brady, will acquire a minority ownership stake in the team, pending NFL approval.

“We have come to an agreement for Tom Brady to become a partner in the Raiders and we have submitted it to the NFL for approval. We’re excited for Tom to join the Raiders.” Raiders owner, Mark Davis told ESPN on Monday.

This partnership not only deepens Brady's affiliation with the city of Las Vegas, but it also reinforces the NFL’s growing presence in the region.

Entering team ownership in Vegas is not a new venture for the esteemed quarterback. Brady has already become a co-owner of the Las Vegas Aces, a WNBA team led by Mark Davis. His alliance with the Raiders further solidifies his expanding influence in the city's sports scene. As a minority owner of both the Raiders and the Aces, Brady consistently contributes to and champions the Las Vegas sports community, forging a strong bond with the city and its sports enthusiasts.

Even before he got involved in the city, in some Vegas circles, Brady has been beloved for years, thanks to the countless bets he won for his backers on Sundays.

Tom Brady once stated, "My driving force was never to let people down... In Boston, no one was getting the boot each year because I was doing my part. I never wanted to be the cause of our losses; I never wanted to be the source of others' distress." He might as well have been talking about NFL bettors, who could reliably count on him throughout his two decades in the spotlight. Tom Brady finished his career covering a remarkable 58% of his NFL starts.

Brady's words resonate with his actions and form a bridge with his record, hardly ever disappointing his backers. Simultaneously, it's important to highlight the stark contrast between Brady's two decades of stellar performance and the Raiders' challenging past few decades. Remarkably, during his 21-year career, Brady only lost three consecutive games twice. In comparison, the franchise he's joining, the Las Vegas Raiders, has experienced three straight losses a staggering 70 times over the same time span.

As Brady embarks on this new chapter of his career as a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders, his involvement in the team adds a layer of excitement and anticipation to the vibrant sports scene of Las Vegas. His extraordinary on-field success and the impact he has had on bettors throughout his career solidify his status as a true icon in the world of sports betting. With Brady's continued presence in Las Vegas, both fans and bettors can expect an exciting journey as his legacy continues to unfold, both on and off the field.
