Cleveland Cavaliers vs Chicago Bulls NBA Playoff Betting Odds Game 6 Free Pick

Round 2 of the NBA Playoffs continue on Thursday night and we will see the Cleveland Cavaliers take on the Chicago Bulls in game 6 of their best-of-seven series, which will be played at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois. Free Pick to follow. The game has a start time of 3:30 pm (Eastern) and will be televised on ABC. Current Vegas betting odds have Chicago listed as 1.5 point favorites, while the total is set at 192.5.

Analysis: The Cleveland Cavaliers grabbed back homecourt advantage with their win at Chicago On Sunday and they held serve with their 106-101 home win on Tuesday night. Now they look to close out the series on Chicago's home floor, where they are 2-2 on the year.  Cleveland has gone 7-3 ATS in their last 10 when their opponent scores 100 points or more in their previous game, but just 2-9 ATS in their last 11 games playing on 1 days rest. The Cavaliers have been a solid offensive team on the road this year, scoring 102.3 ppg on 44.5% shooting overall and 34.3% shooting from long range. Defensively on the road the Cavs have allowed 100.6 ppg on 46.6% shooting overall and 33.0% shooting from long range.

Heading into the Playoffs the Bulls were considered a dangerous team, especially when they are healthy like they are now. Derrick Rose is back and is playing well, but the Bulls now find themselves down 3 games to 2 and will be looking to stave off elimination tonight.  The Bulls are 30-16 at home for the year. The Bulls have gone 9-1 ATS in their last 10 when their opponent scores 100 points or more in their previous game and 8-1 ATS in their last 9 games vs. a team with a winning % above .600. Chicago has scored 100.9 ppg on 43.3% shooting overall and 34.5% from long range at home this year. Defensively they have been solid at home, allowing just 96.7 ppg on 43.0% shooting overall and 33.0% shooting from long range.

Pick: The 5 games this far have put up 191, 197, 195, 170 & 207, so really just 1 game has been extremely low scoring and yes that was on this floor, but I don't see it happening again. The Bulls will be in desperate mode late in the game and we note that all but one of the 5 games played were on an Over pace at the end of the 3rd quarter. The Cleveland offense has been solid and they have allowed 100.6 ppg on the road, while the Bulls have allowed 96.7 ppg at home. Chicago can put up 100+ at home and they will need to increase tehir scoring as the Cavs offenses has been getting more comfortable without Love in there. I see this one in the upper 190s.
