Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos will host the Tennessee Titans at Mile High Stadium today as they look to maintain their perfect home record. This afternoon's meeting between the Broncos and Titans has a scheduled start time of 4:05pm ET; the game will be broadcast live on CBS. Tennessee's playoff hopes took a hit over the weekend as it fell 14-22 to the Colts in Indianapolis. The loss dropped the Titans record to 5-7 and left them looking up at the Dolphins, Ravens, and Chiefs in the battle for the final two playoff spots in the AFC.

Tennessee, if it hopes to pull off an upset against the Broncos, can ill afford the kind of performance quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick turned in against the Colts. Just a week after the Harvard product led the Titans to a comeback win in Oakland, he completed just 21-of-37 passes for 201 yards, one touchdown, and three interceptions.

If he duplicates that effort against Denver, Tennessee will almost certainly absorb a 20 or more point loss.

Fitzpatrick has done enough good things throughout his career, though, to warrant some belief in his ability to bounce back. Besides, his challenge will not be as great as the one Tennessee's defense will face.

The Titans have proven themselves a capable defensive unit, but dealing with the Peyton Manning and the Broncos offensive attack, especially at Mile High, is a tall order. Denver is a perfect 6-0 at home this season and it is has scored fewer than 35 points as a host just one time.

The Broncos also get head coach John Fox back this week, which should provide an emotional boost to a team that has played in two emotionally draining games.
