The St. Louis Rams, who need to win their final two games in order to finish the season with a .500 record, close out their home schedule tomorrow against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Kickoff in the NFC clash is set for 1:00pm ET at the Edward Jones Dome (FOX). The latest NFL Odds from 5Dimes are favoring the Rams at -4 against the spread; the Over/Under is set at 43 points.

The Buccaneers appeared to have turned a corner following their week nine overtime loss at Seattle as they went to defeat the Dolphins, Falcons, and Lions in successive weeks. However, the last three have been less kind to Tampa Bay.

While the Bucs did earn a 27-6 win over the Bills on December 8th, a 27-6 loss to the Panthers on the 1st and 33-14 setback against the Niners last weekend have hindered their efforts to preserve Greg Schiano's job.

Back to back road wins over the Rams and Saints to finish the season would probably lead to Schiano's retention, but that is probably what it will take. And, honestly, Tampa Bay hardly seems capable of pulling such a feat off.

The Buccaneers are a miserable 1-5 on the road this season and they are facing a St. Louis team that has registered four of its six wins at Edwards Jones Dome. As for their season finale in New Orleans, well, the Saints have yet to lose at home this year and they will, based upon the current NFC playoff picture, still be playing for something when they suit up against Tampa Bay.

The Rams are coming off an impressive 27-16 win over the same Saints team, one in which they were out-gained 432 yards to 302 but finished +3 in turnover margin. The victory marked St. Louis second consecutive home win and its third victory in its last five games.

What is unusual about this year's Rams team is the fact that when they do win it is usually in blowout fashion. Excluding their 27-24 season opening victory against the Cardinals, the Rams average margin of victory is a whopping 20.2 points per game.

Notable Trends: The Rams are 4-1 both straight up and against the spread in their last five games as a home favorite against an NFC South opponent.
