NFL Week 14 and the Kansas City Chiefs will travel to Glendale, Arizona to take on the Arizona Cardinals. The game has a start time of 4:05 pm (Eastern) and will be televised on CBS. Current Vegas odds have Kansas City listed as 1 point favorites, while the total is set at 40.  

Analysis: The Kansas City Chiefs followed up their embarrassing road loss to Oakland, with a 29-16 loss at home to Denver last week. The losses now have KC at 7-5 on the year and in third place in the AFC West. The Chiefs are 5-1 ATS vs. a team with a winning record and 11-4 ATS in their last 15 road games, but just 4-12 ATS in their last 16 games after accumulating less than 150 yards passing in their previous game. The KC offense comes in ranked 28th in total yards, 31st in passing, 7th in rushing and 15th in scoring (23.1 ppg). The defense for Kansas city has been very good this year, ranking 9th in total yards allowed, 1st vs the pass, 30th vs the run and 5th in points allowed (18.7 ppg). 

The Arizona Cardinals also come in off two losses in a row, but both were on the road and now they are back at home where they have gone 6-0 on the year. The Cardinals still lead the NFC West with a 9-3 record. Arizona is 9-2 ATS in their last 11 games following a ATS loss, 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games in December and 10-4 ATS in their last 14 games after allowing more than 350 total yards in their previous game. The Arizona offense has not been that good this year, ranking 23rd in total yards, 14th in passing, 31st in rushing and 20th in scoring (21.5 ppg). The Defense has been been solid for this team, ranking 13th in yards allowed, 27th vs the pass, 6th vs the run and 4th in points allowed (18.7 ppg).

Pick: I will be going with the Under in this game. This game should feature a very conservative gameplan plan with lots of running and defense. The Chiefs are a running team and will look to run on Arizona here. The Cardinal defense is solid against the run and will force KC into many 3rd and longs, which is something they are not good at picking up. For Arizona they are not a running team, but will have to turn to the run a bit more to help out Stanton, who has not looked good as a thrower and will be facing the top rated pass defense in the league. Very hard to see the Cards getting much going vs this defense. The Under is 10-1 in Chiefs last 11 games following a double-digit loss at home and 3-0-1 in Arizona's last 4 vs a team with a winning record. This has the feel of a 13-10 type game.
