Sunday NFL and we will see the Green Bay Packers take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Raymond James Wilson Stadium in Tampa, Florida. The game has a start time of 1:00 pm (Eastern) and will be televised on FOX. Current Vegas odds have the Packers listed as 11.5 point favorites, while the total is set at 49.  

Analysis:  The Green Bay Packers had their 6 game win streak snapped in buffalo last week, by a 21-13 score. The Loss dropped the Packers record to 10-4 on the year and into a first place tie with the Detroit Lions in the NFC North. The Packers are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games in Week 16 and 5-1-1 ATS in their last 7 games following a ATS loss, but just 1-8 ATS vs. a team with a losing record. The Packers offense has been very good this year, ranking 6th in total yards, 8th in passing, 11th in rushing and 2nd in scoring (31.1 ppg). The defense for the Packers has not been great, ranking 23rd in yards allowed, 15th vs the pass, 26th vs the run and 18th in points allowed (23.2 ppg).

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have had another miserable year as they come in at 2-10 on the year, which includes a dismal 0-6 mark at home. Tampa Bay is 9-3 ATS the last 12 meetings between these team, but they are also 15-35-1 ATS in their last 51 home games and 8-21-1 ATS in their last 30 games in December. Tampa Bay has been an awful offensive team this year, ranking 30th in total yards, 21st in passing, 29th in rushing and 27th in scoring (18.1 ppg). The defense hasn't been much better for this team, as they come in ranked 25th in yards allowed, 24th vs the pass 19th vs the run and 25th in points allowed (26.2 ppg). 

Pick: I am going to look at the Over in this game. The Packers offense struggled last week in Buffalo, but they will not be facing a tough defense in this one, plus this game will be played in much warmer weather. The Packers have averaged 31.1 ppg on the year, while Tampa Bay has allowed 26.2 ppg. I can see at least 35 from the Packers here. On defense the Pack has allowed 23.2 ppg, including 26 ppg on the road and I see a weak Tampa offense getting their fair share of points in this one. The Bucs have scored 17 or more in 6b of their last 9 games and I feel they can at least get 17 in this one. 35-17 sounds like a good score.
