The Texas A&M Aggies are on the road in college football action Saturday night, taking on the Auburn Tigers. The game is scheduled for a 7:00 p.m. start time and it will be televised nationally on ESPN. The college football odds for the game have the Tigers favored to pick up the victory at home.
College Football Odds
Auburn -3
Total: 54 points
It feels like the wrong team is favored here. Auburn is laying the field goal in a night game here hosting an Aggies team that is 2-0 and picked up a great win over UCLA in the opener. This will be the first road game for the Aggies, but that pressure up front on the defensive line, led by Myles Garrett, will be key in this one.
The road tem has won the last four games in this series, last year it was Auburn in a 26-10 contest. The Tigers rumbled for better than 300 yards on the ground in that one, punishing the Aggie defense play after play. The Tigers played well enough to beat Clemson in the opening week of the season but fell in a close contest.
Sean White is the guy for Auburn at quarterback, though Jeremy Johnson can come around and make a play or two in the run game.
Texas A&M will need Trevor Knight to play better, he has great weapons on the outside and the Aggies have averaged better than six yards per rush on the ground as well. Auburn’s defense won’t be able to keep them off the scoreboard.
