SEC College Football Odds South Carolina vs Tennessee

South Carolina
will look to build on last weekend's resounding win over Arkansas when it faces SEC East rival Tennessee at Neyland Stadium on Saturday. Offshore bookmaker 5Dimes likes the Gamecocks at -7.5 against the spread and -280 on the money line ($280 wins $100) in its latest SEC College Football Odds release; the Over/Under is set at 54.5 points. Kickoff in this weekend's meeting between South Carolina and Tennessee is set for 12:00pm ET on ESPN.

South Carolina has looked off at times this season, playing closer games than expected against Vanderbilt, UCF, and Kentucky, but last weekend it opened a can on Brett Bielema's Arkansas Razorbacks.

The Ole' Ball Coach must have looked on in glee as his Gamecocks took the fight to Pig Sooie in Fayetteville. South Carolina posted 32 first downs and 537 total yards while limiting Arkansas to seven first downs and 248 yards in the 52-7 victory.

The game was by far South Carolina's most impressive outing of the season, and it should have sent a strong message to the rest of the SEC East that it will remain in the division title mix.

Tennessee got to observe the Gamecocks roasting of the Hogs live as it had last weekend off. Prior to their respite, the Volunteers dropped three of four games to fall to 3-3 on the season.

Tennessee did turn in an inspired effort in defeat its last time, falling 31-34 in overtime to Georgia at Neyland Stadium. The Volunteers gave up 238 yards rushing in the loss, but they too ran the ball effectively, gaining 189 yards on 41 carries.

Butch Jones' troops will not find South Carolina's defense less accommodating, though, as the Gamecocks are allowing 22.7 points and 345.5 yards per game.

South Carolina has won four of the last five meetings between these two schools, but Tennessee has covered the number in three of the last four, including last year's game, which it lost 35-38 as a 14 point road dog.

SEC College Football Odds South Carolina vs Tennessee:

South Carolina Gamecocks -7.5 (+100), Over 54.5 (-110), -280 (Moneyline)

Tennessee Volunteers +7.5 (-120), Under 54.5 (-110), +240 (Moneyline)
