SEC College Football LSU Tigers at Auburn Tigers Start Time, Betting Odds, Free Pick

The LSU Tigers are on the road in SEC College Football action on Saturday night, taking on the Auburn Tigers. The game is scheduled for a 6:00 p.m. start time and it will be televised nationally on ESPN. The college football odds for the game have the Tigers favored by around a field goal to pic up the win.

College Football Odds
LSU -3.5
Total: 45.5 points

LSU already has a loss this season, falling to Wisconsin to open the campaign. While it wasn’t a conference loss, the Tigers really can’t afford another defeat here as they have many expectations to live up to.

Auburn, on the other hand, is 1-2 but they have been in close games with Clemson and Texas A&M. In order for them to win this week they’ll have to find a way to stop Leonard Fournette from running wild again.

Last year Fournette piled up 228 yards and three touchdowns last season against Auburn in a game LSU won 45-21. Auburn’s defensive line is pretty solid and will have to play an excellent game to have a chance against LSU up front.

Gus Malzahn really needs a win in this one. Auburn has struggled during his tenure as head coach and they just can’t seem to get any traction going. The Tigers have dropped six straight SEC home losses and a seventh would certainly be another black eye for Malzahn and his program.

It looks like Sean White is going to be the starter for Auburn in this one, but it could come down to the run game for the Tigers against a stout LSU defense.

Auburn just isn’t good enough on both sides of the ball.
