The Ole Miss Rebels are hosting the Georgia Bulldogs in SEC College Football action on Saturday. The game is scheduled for a noon start time and it will be televised nationally on ESPN. The college football odds for the game have the Rebels favored by a touchdown to pick up the win.

Ole Miss laying a touchdown at home might be a bit of an overreaction to how they played last week against Alabama. The Rebels were in that game the whole way and actually led at halftime, but the Crimson Tide out-scored them in the second half 31-19. Those 12 points proved to be the difference between winning and losing and unfortunately for Ole Miss, it gave them a second loss on the season.
Georgia is the third ranked team Ole Miss has played through four weeks, the Bulldogs come in ranked 12th overall and looking for a big road win. The 0-2 Rebels are still very dangerous team with Chad Kelly running the show. He’s thrown for 10 touchdowns this season and has completed TD passes to seven different receivers.
Ole Miss’ big problem is the inability to run the football. The Rebels average just 3.7 yards per carry and the longest run on the season is only 23 yards.
The Bulldogs are 3-0 and they have a strong running back with Nick Chubb. The Jacob Eason to Isaiah McKenzie connection has also been powerful through the air, they’ve combined for 305 yards and four touchdowns on 18 completions to date.
Georgia is pretty good and Ole Miss is no doubt the best 2-loss team in the country. The Bulldogs will keep this one close with a solid run game and good defense.
