Major league baseball on Saturday night and we will see the Chicago Cubs take on the Atlanta Braves in game 2 of their 3 game series from Turner Field in Atlanta. Free Pick to follow. First pitch is scheduled for a 7:10 PM (Eastern) start time and the game will be televised locally.
Over/ Under: 7.5 U -125
Last night the Cubs lost game 1 of this series by a 4-2 score. The Cubs have now lost 4 of their last 5 games and have fallen to 9 games behind the Cardinals in the NL Central. The win for the Braves was much needed as they went into the break on a 5 game losing streak. Atlanta is still 4 games under .500 and 6.5 games behind the Nationals in the NL East. The Cubs are 22-21 on the road, while the Braves are 24-17 at home.
Chicago ranks 24th in scoring (3.83 rpg), 26th in hitting (.239) and 18th in homers (77), while on the mound they are 4th in ERA (3.31) and 1st in WHIP (1.16). Atlanta ranks 22nd in scoring (3.90 rpg), 8th in hitting (.256) and 30th in homers (57), while on the mound they are 21st in ERA (4.02) and 27th in WHIP (1.37).
Getting the ball for the Cubs tonight will be Jon Lester, who is 4-8 with a 3.59 ERA in 18 starts this year, while on the road he has gone 1-2 with a 3.80 ERA in 7 starts. Lester is 2-2 with a 3.60 ERA in 4 starts vs the Braves in his career.
Taking the hill for the Braves tonight will be Manuel Banuelos, who is making just his 3 start of the year. In his first two starts he went 1-0, allowing just 1 ER in 11 innings of work over the two games.
Pick: I will go with the Cubs to bounce back from last night's tough loss. Lester has not had a good record this year, but he hasn't pitched that bad either and I feel that his mates will be able to come up with some offense for him here, while the Atlanta offense will continue to struggle. Cubs take this one.

Philadelphia Eagles: 2015 NFL Free Picks & Betting Odds
Pro bettor Teddy Covers thinks the best bet for an NFC win totals bet is that Chip Kelly’s Philadelphia Eagles squads will not be able to win more than nine games this season. Covers and fellow pro Steve Fezzik note that Kelly has a terrible record against losing teams, not to mention a potentially divisive locker room issues after many players, including former Eagles running back LeSean McCoy, suggest Kelly is a racist. With those problems, plus questionable acquisitions in Sam Bradford and DeMarco Murray, this is likely going to be a lackluster season for this squad.
