Saturday College Football Kansas Jayhawks and Oklahoma Sooners: Start Time, Odds

The ninth ranked Oklahoma Sooners welcome Big 12 doormat Kansas to Memorial Stadium this evening in hopes of handing the Jayhawks their sixth loss of the season (7:00pm ET start time). Saturday College Football Odds are firmly in the Sooners corner as they are presently listed as a -35 against the spread home favorite. The Over/Under in tonight’s conference showdown between the Sooners and Jayhawks is set at 57 points.

Oklahoma, a team many considered a BCS title contender when the season kicked off, got off to a slow start, but it appears to have hit its stride over the last two weekends.

The Sooners, who were stunned at home by Kansas State almost a month ago, whipped No. 17 Texas Tech 41-20 in Lubbock on October 6th and they pulled out the heavy lumber last Saturday, taking Texas behind the woodshed in a 63-21 mauling.

With No. 5 Notre Dame visiting Norman next weekend, today seems like the perfect spot for a Sooners letdown; however, given its clumsy start, Oklahoma can ill afford a poor performance against the Jayhawks should it hope to crawl back into the national championship picture.

Kansas, despite showing improvement under Charlie Weis, is considered an FBS dreg and anything less than a complete butt kicking by Oklahoma will not go over well with pollsters.

For that reason the Jayhawks can expect the Sooners best shot, which is something they are not prepared to absorb.

Kansas Jayhawks and Oklahoma Sooners College Football Odds:

Kansas Jayhawks +35 (-110), Over 57 (-110)

Oklahoma Sooners -35 (-110), Under 57 (-110)
