Florida State’s quest to get back in the BCS picture continues tonight as it squares off against hated in-state rival Miami (8:00pm ET start time, ABC). Saturday College Football Odds are predicting an impressive performance from the Seminoles in this evening’s ACC battle; FSU is a -21 against the spread road favorite. The Over/Under in tonight’s game is set at 57 points.
Florida State saw its BCS National Championship hopes take a nose dive two weekends ago when it lost 17-16 at North Carolina State. The Seminoles shook off the stunning setback in tremendous fashion last weekend, though, as they drilled Atlantic Division rival Boston College 51-7 at Doak Campbell Stadium in Tallahassee.
E.J. Manuel and company will look to reach 7-1 tonight and add another dominating victory to their resume tonight against the suddenly reeling Hurricanes.
Miami got off to an unexpected and impressive 4-1 start, but it was unable to sustain its early momentum as Notre Dame and North Carolina saddled the ‘Canes with 41-3 and 18-14 losses, respectively.
The Hurricanes slide should continue this evening as its defense stands little chance at stopping the Seminoles potent offense. Miami got drilled by the two ranked opponents it faced as Kansas State and Notre Dame outpaced Al Golden’s crew 93-16. Look for Florida State to do the same thing tonight.
Florida State Seminoles and Miami Hurricanes College Football Odds:
Florida State Seminoles -21 (-110), Over 57 (-110)
Miami Hurricanes +21 (-110), Under 57 (-110)
